County of Richland, SC is Hiring a Contract Analyst Near Columbia, SC

Job Description
The purpose of the class is to perform routine-to-moderately complex technical work in the procurement of equipment, supplies and services for Richland County, and to perform other work as necessary in support of effective and efficient department operations. The class works within a general outline of work to be performed, and develops work methods and sequences under limited guidance.
Requires a bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, acquisitions and contracting, or a closely related field. Requires a minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience with specific experience in the large-scale acquisition of supplies and services. Government procurement experience preferred.
Must possess a valid state driver"s license.
Must possess or be able to obtain procurement certification such as Certified Professional Public Buyer, Purchasing Manager, Contract Manager or equivalent within 2 years of date of hire.
